Sung Kim, O.D.

Sung Kim, O.D. received her Doctor of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2006.  She completed her undergraduate studies at Loyola University Chicago.

Dr. Kim’s clinical externship was at the University of Chicago Ophthalmology Department, Battle Creek VA Ophthalmology Department, and Vision Care Specialists (CIBA Vision).  She is a board-certified optometrist specializing in ocular disease treatment and specialty contact lenses.

Dr. Kim is passionate about Myopia Management to slow down myopia progression in children.  She specializes in Orthokeratology, MiSight contact lenses, and Atropine treatment for myopia control.  If your child's vision progresses, please consult Dr. Kim to discuss specialty treatment options.
